Program
Seattle Beauty Academy’s Cosmetology Program is a 1,600-hour, state-approved course covering the full scope of professional hairstyling — cutting, coloring, chemical services, and styling — alongside the skin, nail, and business fundamentals Washington requires for licensure.
You’ll build your skills on real clients in our on-site training clinic under instructors currently working in Seattle salons, so you graduate with a portfolio and real client-facing experience, not just a certificate.
Most full-time students complete the 1,600-hour program in 12–16 months.
