A Spanish-speaking student, Angelica came to us facing the challenge of navigating a new language in a technical field. With the support of our bilingual instructors and an inclusive learning environment, she overcame those barriers and graduated as a confident, skilled beauty professional.
With one-on-one support from her Spanish-speaking instructor, Marisol passed her Washington State nail technician exam — and never looked back.

Marisol’s journey began with determination and a dream. Her instructor, Ms. Yazmin Martinez, provided personalized guidance — translating manicure tools and product names, explaining techniques in Spanish, and walking her through every step of exam preparation. Today, Marisol works in a multicultural salon in Seattle, serving clients in both Spanish and English.
